I am a volunteer puppy raiser for Hero Dogs an organization that raises, trains and places service dogs at no cost to our nations veterns. Hero Dogs Samuel Nicholas “Nick” was selected from Haus Morrisson’s “N” litter in Aug. to become a service dog in training for a veteran. Selected puppies must meet a very high standard for health, temperament and intelligence. The program at Haus Morrisson insures that each puppy can reach its full potiential. Amy and her husband go to great lengths at every step ....from health and temperament of the parents, birth of the puppies and early socialization/ exposures for the pups.... to develop fabulous dogs whether family pet, fierce competitor, or service dog in training. These dogs have it all.

We love our M litter dog, Stormy! I met with 3 breeders before choosing Haus Morrisson. Professional, knowledgable, and the highest quality Shepherds I could find. Storm has a wonderful disposition and Amy selected the perfect dog for our family. I would highly recommend this breeder for anyone looking for a GSD. Although we are not experienced GSD owners, we felt like we made the decision from a place of knowledge.

Amy Morrisson and her husband are two very nice people . When I got my shepherd Maui from her she told me that she would help with whatever I needed. She has done that and more. Always keeps me informed on dog shows and asks that I attend. She breeds and sell the nicest healthiest pups. I would recommend any one looking for a well balanced smart healthy pup to contact Amy. And she also a great photographer of the shepherds.

I had the pleasure of attending nosework seminar Amy organized back in the spring at Point Of Rocks; even getting to see one of her young German shepherds do bite work with my decoy. We learned about Haus Morrisson German Shepherds by researching local breeders. We found many excellent reviews for Haus Morrisson and were impressed by the pedigrees, stories, achievements, and images of Haus Morrisson offspring.
Meeting in person, we realized that Haus Morrisson’s German Shepherd Dogs were superb—excellent lineages of strong, smart, motivated, and healthy dogs. We were impressed by the policies—ensuring the best homes and outcomes for their pups. Amy is a fully committed, experienced, and skilled professional. She not only breeds but she works with her dogs through regular formal training and trials.
In addition, they work with the pups early, to socialize, stimulate, and train. We are daily grateful that we were able to fit Haus Morrisson’s criteria to get a working pup. Our Lucy started out well socialized and nearly housebroken by 8 weeks old. Within a week, we started formal obedience training and continued her socialization. Lucy’s focus, drive, and intelligence are exceptional. She is five and a half months old and we are just thrilled to have her as a companion and to watch and help her develop. She is a beautiful and playful pup, full of curiosity and a fearless desire to work and interact.

Louis is just a great pup! After researching for my next SAR dog, I found Haus Morrisson. They bred for the important things - heath, temperament, working ability, good genetics. Health and temperament are paramount because even a great working dog can't work without them. While a lot of breeders do consider that and do the testing, its is surprisingly difficult to also find working breeders who actually DO stuff with their puppies.
At Haus Morrisson care was taken to socialize the pups from day 1. That is important. You don't get those early days of imprinting back. They can be given a huge head start in life skills from the moment they are born, or they can be sent into the world with zero exposure to anything. I knew I wanted my next pup to have every advantage. I was looking for the whole package. Turned out that the little green "L" boy was waiting for me when I contacted Amy. He was a perfect decision!
Louis is not only sweet as can be, but smart as a whip, and has a ton of drive to work. He is excelling at Search and Rescue, and did from his first night of training at 9 weeks. He's smart, and a great worker, but he also has that blessed on/off switch. He works with diligence and determination, plays with his reward frisbees like a landshark, plays with everyone, and also snuggles contentedly on the couch. He's also becoming absolutely stunning, not just a cute good looking pup, but a stunning dog! He already has his AKC S.T.A.R. and is working on his SAR certs and his CGC. The sky is the limit. We got a puppy from Amy's last litter and I could not be happier!!! Our Ayda is sweet, protective, very SMART and a wonderful loyal companion. She was very much worth the two trips from NC to MD. Amy went above and beyond our expectations with videos and pics as she grew. When we picked her up, she had been bathed, had a notebook full of needed and helpful info, including pictures and was pretty much kennel and potty trained. To say the least, she had been very loved and taken care of:) If you are looking for a German Shepherd puppy... look no further!!

We recently brought home an 8wk old GSD bred at Haus Morrisson (Amy) and have been THRILLED with the new addition to the family. The dogs at Haus Morrisson are beautiful and smart as can be. They are true working dogs. One could be thrilled just with that; however, the process of being placed with a dog was awesome. Amy spent ~6 weeks evaluating each puppy to determine which would be the best fit for our family (we have two young children). I have always loved German Shepherds, but after working with reactive GSDs almost exclusively, I was starting to reconsider the breed. After meeting Amy and her shepherds I had no doubt about the temperament and working ability of her dogs; she restored my faith in german shepherds. Haus Morrisson puppies are everything German Shepherds are supposed to be: they have great temperaments, are beautiful, loyal, and smart. I couldn't have asked for a better, more responsible breeder.

Overall amazing experience! Best responsible dog breeder I've seen with plenty of research. She was aware that each dog needs the correct owner and has multiple opportunities to see the pups. She's extremely knowledgeable about the GSD breed and goes above and beyond to share pictures of the growing pups and provide you with an EXTENSIVE packet when you take them home. 10/10 experience and I'd be happy to recommend Haus Morrisson to anyone anywhere about this breeder.

Amazing breeder with an equally amazing breeding program. Amy simply does everything right, from little things like making sure each puppy gets a bath and a nail trim prior to going to it's new home to big things like health and temperament testing and certifying her dogs and sending new owners home with a notebook full of information to ensure their puppy gets started on the right foot. Amy is extremely knowledgeable about the GSD breed and more importantly every nuance of her own dogs. This allows her to expertly select perspective owners and masterfully match those owners/families with the perfect puppy. Socialization starts early for the puppies and perspective owners are involved and kept updated through visits, pictures and videos. I could not be happier with my experience with Haus Morrisson German Shepherds and my awesome puppy!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Top of the line GSD's at a local trustworthy hands on breeder. The pups are well cared for and personable and the new owner to be is involved with their pup every step of the way. Also, important that Haus Morrison takes the time to check owners background and experience to place pup with right person. Our pup is outstanding, loving and I would get my next dog from them any day!

Amy runs a great organization in Haus Morrisson German Shepherds. My last GSD came from a puppy mill...so this time around I wanted to make sure I went to a reputable, responsible breeder, and that is exactly what you get at Haus Morrisson. Amy is very knowledgeable and is always ready to answer any questions you may have. Their puppies are raised as a part of their family and the family loves all the puppies. In addition to working with a responsible breeder, you really become a part of a little community of Haus Morrisson clients...Amy stays in touch with her clients and the clients get to know each other as well! Working with Amy and Haus Morrisson German Shepherds was a great experience...I would absolutely purchase from them again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality GSD.

These GSDs are great dogs. Amy is good and very helpful person even though she's a redskins fan. The adult GSDs are some of the nicest dogs ive met and impressive overall. My puppy is great and a genius. well organized set up here.

Two trainers in two different puppy classes have commented they have never seen a more focused and socialized GSD puppy--at only five months, we give all the credit to the great beginning our Laska got from Amy. She insures that all puppies have lots of interaction with people and other dogs as early as possible. The pups are beautiful, smart, athletic, sound in spirit and body and eager--what more could you want!

Fantastic and responsible GSD breeder.
